10 Aquamarine

Players looking for a quieter take on strategy and survival games will want to check out Aquamarine. Aquamarine puts players on a mysterious island where they must explore every inch of the ocean floor to find supplies.

Players will unlock the secrets of the alien planet they have arrived on by studying the native flora and fauna. Each area features new challenges and puzzles that players will have to overcome. Back on the island players can manage a small garden to increase their chances of survival.

9 Phobies

Phobies is a free-to-play tactical card collecting strategy game, where players will have to face their fears as they battle against each other. Players can collect fearsome Phobies and use their unique abilities to defeat their opponents.

In addition to PvP, the game also features a challenging PvE mode. The PvE mode contains plenty of puzzles and objectives to tackle. There are over 120 powerful Phobies to collect, each inspired by various phobias.

The game is also cross-platform compatible, meaning players can battle whenever and wherever they want. An arena mode is also available for players who may not be interested in the competitive experience.

8 Telepath Tactics Liberated

In Telepath Tactics Liberated players will take on the roles of two sisters who have been trained in the art of combat. They will attempt to rescue the siblings' father and liberate the mines. Throughout the journey, players will recruit dozens of allies and defeat a variety of enemies.

There are 150 skills players can learn, such as shoving enemies into environmental hazards and setting traps. Players are also able to destroy walls and other terrains, as well as create bridges to shift the tide on the battlefield. In Telepath Tactics Liberated players will also have to manage their supplies to make sure each party member is prepared for battle.

7 Kaiju Wars

Players will have to defend their city from terrifying creatures in Kaiju Wars. Kaiju Wars is a 2D turn-based strategy game where players will have to construct buildings and use weapons to hold off the creatures.

Each kaiju can grow stronger and develop devastating abilities, they also can’t be killed. The game features a campaign mode where players will have to discover the mystery behind the attacks. 6 Lords of Ravage

Players can become the final boss of their own dungeon in Lords of Ravage. Players will have to slowly wear down dangerous heroes before they reach the final dungeon boss.

There are three lords that players can take control of each with its own unique mechanics. There are plenty of enemies to face from the classic adventuring party, lone summoners, and even entire military forces. Each enemy features unique strengths and weaknesses as well as combat mechanics.

Players can also combine units from different factions to create devastating combinations in battle. They will also have to raid cities, forge alliances, and gather cursed artifacts to strengthen their empire.

5 Freshly Frosted

Players looking for a more casual strategy game will want to keep an eye out for Freshly Frosted. In Freshly Frosted players will have to solve puzzles in an adorable donut factory.

Players will place conveyor belts around each level and craft delicious treats in a variety of shapes and flavors. There are over one-hundred puzzles to solve, and plenty of unique machines to help get the job done.

4 Card Shark

Players looking to test their strategy skills in card games will want to check out Card Shark. Card Shark takes players into the 18th century, where they will have to play their opponents better than their cards.

3 Laysara: Summit Kingdom

In Laysara: Summit Kingdom players will have to establish multiple towns that rely on each other for trade and help rebuild the Kingdom of Laysara. Each mountain brings its own set of challenges, layouts, and resources.

While some areas may be ideal for farming, others may force players to carefully extract materials near the steep mountain peaks. Avalanches will become an ever-present threat to towns, as they can not be prevented. However, players can take various precautions to protect their settlements, such as redirecting snow or triggering avalanches before they pose a severe threat.

2 Vanaris Tactics

Vanaris Tactics is a short narrative tactical RPG, where players will experience the story of refugees fleeing their occupied motherland. Players will travel through the realm of Vanaris and meet new people along the way.

Players can unite these characters and use their unique strengths, skills, and stories to overcome their oppressors. Vanaris Tactics also features a variety of weapons and abilities that players can equip. There are fifteen-story encounters as well as in-game cutscenes, and optional battles.

1 Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles

Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles is a dice-deck-building roguelike, that will take players through the ruins of a lost civilization. Players will learn to master an ever-changing deck of dice and enchanted Sentinels to purify waves of corrupted enemies.

There are hundreds of different dice ranging from perfectly balanced to powerfully risky. Astrea also features a risk versus reward system in the form of purification and corruption, which can be used against enemies and on themselves.

In addition, there are over twenty upgradable Sentinels that act as support in battle. Players will have to chart their own path through the ruins and discover the source of the corruption.
