The final episode of the season is set to air on April 3.

p>The release date of the highly anticipated final episode of Season 4 Part 2 of Attack on Titan has been revealed. After the airing of the episode was delayed all over the world, the final episode's release date has been revealed, with Crunchyroll releasing a trailer in anticipation of the episode.

Attack on Titan is reaching its endpoint, with this current season being a critical success in various ways, especially considering Eren's unleashing of the utterly terrifying secret weapon of Paradis Island: The Rumbling. This upcoming episode will be very readily watched by fans globally following the delay, and this trailer serves up even more hype for the finale as it's set to air on April 3.

The trailer features several clips and shots from Season 4 of Attack on Titan, including a clip of the chilling telepathic message from Eren Jaeger to his fellow Subjects of Ymir. It gives viewers a quick glimpse at the major events from the current and previous parts of season 4, particularly the mounting cataclysmic battle between the faction who are trying to prevent further deaths through The Rumbling and their friends from all the way back in the first season.

As Floch puts it, "Mikasa, Armin, and Connie have betrayed Eldia!", leading into what is described in the trailer as "the ultimate battle". All of this season's major players make an appearance, particularly Eren. The music crescendos in dramatic Attack on Titan fashion. Depending on how one sees it, the trailer featuring no new content or at the very least, a teaser on what is to come adds even greater anticipation for the upcoming episode.

Reasons behind the delay have been speculated to have been on account of the AnimeJapan event, which was presented by announcer Matsuzawa Chiaki. The event featured a panel from the series consisting of six voice actors who shared various experiences from working on the series together. Kaji Yuki, Inoue Marina, and Ishikawa Yui; who play Eren, Armin and Mikasa respectively were joined by Hosoya Yoshimasa, Shimono Hiro, and Sakura Ayane; who play Reiner, Connie, and Gabi respectively.

The AnimeJapan event's major takeaways regarding Attack on Titan were related to Blu-Ray releases of Attack on Titan: The Final Season, as well as Part 2, and re-releases of the Original Animation Discs (OAD) from the first season. There has been no word of a Final Season Part 3, or film as fans were hoping, which strengthens speculation that episode 87 will be Attack on Titan's last, and this latest trailer does very little to quell those suspicions.
