Call of Duty: Warzone players are now noticing that restock buff is making snapshot grenades overpowered, as they allow players to see through walls.

p>Call of Duty: Warzone regularly has balancing issues owing to the sheer number of weapons and items in the game. Issues often arise when Call of Duty: Warzone players combine these items, weapons, and perks in tandem with one another in a way that the developer did not originally intend for them to be combined.

The item that players have an issue with is the snapshot grenade, which effectively allows players to see through walls for a short period of time. The only other way players are able to see through walls in the game is if they make use of cheats in Call of Duty: Warzone. Thankfully, players are now far less likely to encounter cheaters after the Ricochet anti-cheat system was recently used to ban around 90,000 cheaters from the game.

A YouTuber recently stumbled upon a way to abuse the snapshot grenade in Warzone as he noticed that, when the grenade is combined with the restock perk, it replenishes every 25 seconds. Players are now spamming snapshot grenades, as they know that they will replenish, which allows them to see through walls as though they had wallhacks.

The developer has recently nerfed and buffed various aspects of the game, so it is unsure as to whether this buff was intentional or not. Not too long ago, Raven Software made changes to UAVs in Call of Duty: Warzone, as the ghost perk previously allowed players to stay undetected from the killstreak. Now, players with the ghost perk need to keep moving or else they will show up on an opposing player's UAV. Some players viewed this change as a big positive, as they noted that the nerf of the ghost perk will likely discourage camping.

Raven Software also implemented another nerf recently that was not mentioned in any patch notes. The nerf affected armor plates in Call of Duty: Warzone, as players were previously able to loot up to 16 armor plates from opposing players, but can now only loot eight armor plates from another player's satchel.

If the buff to the restock perk was unintentional, Raven Software is likely to revert the change. The developer fixed a nerf to sniper rifle headshot damage in Call of Duty: Warzone about two weeks ago. Raven Software acknowledged that the nerf was accidental, stating that headshots by a sniper rifle are intended to kill other players in one shot, which was not the case after the nerf.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
