The video game developer Techland promises that it will be on-hand at E3 2019 to show off its latest look of the forthcoming survival-horror game, Dying Light 2.

p>It's been quite a while since Techland has shared any details regarding Dying Light 2, the sequel to the studio's 2015 survival horror action-RPG, with the last major reveal being the title's gameplay trailer at E3 2018. Speaking of the annual expo, it looks as if Techland is primed to unveil even more about Dying Light 2 at E3 2019, with the developer promising that it will be showcasing the sequel at this year's big event.

While Techland didn't detail exactly what of Dying Light 2 it would be showing at E3 2019, there's a good chance that the company will be building on what it has already unveiled during last year's show, and could even provide a concrete release date. What's more is that the studio seems pretty confident about the title, as Techland has declared the sequel to be its "most ambitious project to date".

As of now, not too much is known as to how well Dying Light 2 will set itself apart from its predecessor, but there has been some speculation as to whether or not Techland will be looking to some of the prevalent trends in gaming so as to provide its own unique twists on certain ideas and bolster the sequel with content. For instance, Techland lead designer Tymon Smektala stated that while Dying Light 2 won't have battle royale, the studio "will have some surprises" for multiplayer fans.

When it comes to the forthcoming sequel's campaign, Techland has declared Dying Light 2 will have wildcard factions that will alter relationships and consequences in the game. According to Smektala, every group in the fictional open-world of Harran has its own means of survival, with bandits and thieves being just as big of a threat during the day as the infected zombies who roam the streets at night.

We can't wait to show you the latest look at our most ambitious project to date.
See you there!#DyingLight2 #E32019 pic.twitter.com/sSSgN7xCsw
— Dying Light (@DyingLightGame) April 26, 2019

"'};

Bearing everything here in mind, it will be interesting to see just what Techland has in store for its showcase of Dying Light 2 at E3 2019. With the studio having announced Dying Light 2 during Microsoft's E3 conference last year, we will likely learn even more when Xbox takes the stage in June.

Dying Light 2 currently lacks an official release date, but is in development for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
