Square Enix shares information on the in-game musical Loveless that appears within Final Fantasy 7 Remake in honor of World Theatre Day.

p>There are times developers share information about the world of a game, giving that world more depth. This can include certain aspects about a character or an environment, deepening the universes that we love to play in. Square Enix has done this recently, helping build the world of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. As Final Fantasy 7 celebrates its 25th anniversary, the developer is helping deepen our knowledge of the game's universe.

Since the release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Square Enix has been releasing materials such as concept art that helps deepen the world that the game takes place in. Earlier this year, concept art of Aerith's house from Final Fantasy 7 Remake was shared, giving fans a look at details that they would have otherwise missed. The developer is at it again, this time giving details on the in-game musical, Loveless.

In order to celebrate World Theatre Day, Square Enix released details on the in-game musical from Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Loveless, and also provided the poster for the work. According to the developer, there are two different versions of Loveless. The first is the musical, while the second is a stage play that is shown in Midgar every year. It was also revealed that premium seats for Loveless can run for 50,000 gil. This is a substantial amount, as a potion in the game will cost players 50 gil.

Loveless first appeared in the original Final Fantasy 7, when players were able to see a large billboard promoting the musical in Midgard. Loveless is based on a book of poetry and was so popular that there is a street in Midgar named after it. The musical would have a prominent role in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7, the prequel to the classic JRPG.

While Square Enix has shared bits of information about Final Fantasy 7 Remake's world, not much is known about the game's sequel. Square Enix has revealed that they will be sharing more information about Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part Two sometime in 2022, though it is unknown what this information will be. While it could be simple details on the upcoming game, it could also be a trailer helping fans know what to anticipate. If Square Enix holds a presentation at this year's E3 event, there is a good chance that the game will be shown there. As Final Fantasy 7 Remake did make some big changes to the original's story, it will be interesting to see where the second part of the remake goes. Until then, fans will have the bits of lore and concept art that is being released to satisfy them.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is available now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
