Genshin Impact players can look for the ring that was stolen from Taliesin by summoning a Golden Weasel Thief.

p>To look for the ring that was stolen from Taliesin, Genshin Impact players must first take the quest from the bard. He said that he found this Brass Ring from a Weasel Thief's nest, so he suggests looking there to claim his ring back.

Afterward, Genshin Impact players can look for the ring that was stolen from Taliesin in the Weasel Thief’s training camp. The item is reclaimed by a Golden Weasel Thief, the most clever one among the other Weasels.

How To Start The “Stolen, By The Rightful Owner” Quest In Genshin Impact

To start the Stolen, by the Rightful Owner Quest in Genshin impact, players must speak to Taliesin the Bard. Before entering the Underground Chasm, Taliesin can be found on the Surface. Afterward, he can be found in the explorer encampment.

How To Find The Ring That Was Stolen From Taliesin In Genshin Impact

After speaking with Taliesin, go to the marked spot and find the Weasel Thief Training camp. Near the tent, read the Weasel Thief Training Manual. The Weasel Thief Training Manual will contain the following information:

  • Amateur Weasel Thief - Feed afternoon to keep their excessive energy in check… Recommended Time: 12:00–23:59
  • Hoarder Weasel Thief - Feed before noon to allow a more flexible training schedule… Recommended Time: 2:00–11:59
  • Golden Weasel Thief - The most cunning of all. Limit its feeding and interacting window within two hours... Recommended Time: 0:00–1:59
  • All Weasel Thieves listed above can be summoned during their respective feeding hours. Stand on a large rock and summon them by whistling. Avoid whistling for fun, as it may lead to unnecessary trouble.

Usually, Amateur Weasel Thief drops 500 Mora, Hoarder Weasel grants 750, while the Golden version gives 1000 Mora. But for this Genshin Impact quest, the animals will drop different items instead. Only the Golden Weasel Thief will grant Mora.

Next, go to the large rock and whistle around 0:00-1:59. Players can use the clock to fast forward to midnight.

This will summon the Golden Weasel Thief. Attack it to retrieve Taliesin's Brass Ring.

Finally, give the ring back to Taliesin to end the Stolen, by the Rightful Owner Quest in Genshin Impact. Finishing this mission rewards players with:

  • 30x Primogems
  • 2x Hero's Wit
  • 200x Adventure EXP
  • 20,000x Mora

As the Golden Weasel Thief drops 1000 Mora with the Brass Ring, Travelers will earn a total of 21,000 Mora from this mission.

After helping Taliesin, people can now tell him stories so that he can write songs about them. As of now, there’s no sign of the tales being sung, but fans can expect their story to travel around Teyvat sometime in the future.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
