Luckily, Traveller's Tales, the developers of the latest LEGO Star Wars game, has included a setting called Mumble Mode, allowing old-school fans the chance to revert the voice acting back to the original style, which some might feel is funnier than the traditional voice acting the game offers.
For those who would like to try out Mumble Mode for themselves, here's how to turn it on in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
Players might think that they need to go into the game's settings in the main menu to toggle Mumble Mode, but that isn't the case. Instead, LEGO Star Wars fans need to press up on the d-pad to open the Holoprojector menu.
Once it's opened up, press the right or left bumpers to get to the Extras section. Here, players will see a list of Datacards that need to be purchased with the game's currency to unlock. However, if players scroll down far enough, they'll find that Mumble Mode is the only one that's free of charge and can be toggled on/off at any time.
Having Mumble Mode checked will replace all voices with mumbles for the classic LEGO Star Wars experience. To turn it off, just click it again, so the green checkmark goes away.
With the mode activated, players can now experience what the old LEGO Star Wars games were like. Some players might enjoy Mumble Mode more than others, but for those that prefer traditional voice acting, at least it's very straightforward to turn off.
