A classification board in Korea has potentially revealed what the next PS5 launch title will be alongside Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

p>The launch of Sony's PlayStation 5 is drawing closer, but gamers are still waiting on a price point and official release date. The console is set to release in Holiday 2020 and Sony has revealed a slate of upcoming games for the PS5 that has definitely gotten player's excited about the next-gen console.

Sony's Future of Gaming event in June showed off plenty of new games for the PS5, including Godfall, GhostWire: Tokyo and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. So far there is only one game confirmed to be an exclusive launch title for the PlayStation 5, that being Spider-Man: Miles Morales. While backward compatibility is expected for some games on the PS5, there's still plenty of question around what other titles will be available at launch for the new console.

Japanese video game news site Gematsu has uncovered that Demon's Souls on PS5 was rated in Korea on August 13. The only other PS5 game currently rated in Korea is Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which is one of the other expected launch titles for the PS5. The timing suggests that Demon's Souls will also release alongside the PlayStation 5.

It is possible that Demon's Souls is just the first of many other PS5 games currently being rated for release, which doesn't necessarily mean it will be released at the same time as the new console. But the fact that Demon's Souls has been rated does indicate that its development is far enough down the line that it can be sent to classifiers. This could mean it will be ready in time for the Holiday 2020 release window.

Demon's Souls is a complete remake of the original PS3 classic and the game is seemingly taking advantage of all the next-gen power the PlayStation 5 has to offer. Demon's Souls will offer players a choice of using the PS5's power to optimize frame rate or graphics, providing a different visual gameplay experience depending on a player's preferences.

Launch titles can be a huge influencing factor for a new console's release. One of the biggest selling points for the Xbox Series X was that Halo Infinite would be released as a launch title. However, Halo Infinite was recently delayed to 2021, meaning many Xbox fans may choose to hold off on buying the new console until its headlining game is released.

Some of the announced PS5 games such as Horizon Forbidden West and Deathloop have also been pushed to 2021 release dates, leaving plenty of open slots for launch titles. But launching with Spider-Man: Miles Morales and potentially Demon's Souls to start is still a solid lineup to entice players into purchasing the PS5 on release.

Demon's Souls is currently in development for the PS5.
