Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is another fun first-person looter-shooter by Gearbox Software and 2K. Joining Tiny Tina's latest game of Bunkers and Badasses, players must make their way across her wonderlands to face off against the sinister Dragonlord.
Freezicles can be found in the Mount Claw area while progressing the GTFO questline, which begins by taking a job from the quest board in town. The quest is from a goblin seeking to free her comrades from oppressive conditions in Mount Claw on behalf of the "Goblins Tired of Forced Oppression." Journeying to Mount Claw will eventually lead to players being asked to disable the great furnace, which will require the powers of Freezicles.
Your goblin friend "Jar" will set off to find him while the player collects explosives for use against Vorcanar the Dragon God (a boss encountered later on in this questline.) Unfortunately, as the player collects explosives from the goblin sappers her messages quickly make it clear that she's in way over her head. After grabbing the explosives she asks the player to come and help her, and the quest marker guides the way to "Castle Freezicles."
Within this cave players find Jar being chased by a large skeleton wielding a sword and coated in ice, the aforementioned "Freezicles." What follows is a surprisingly brutal fight in which Freezicles uses a combination of teleportation, melee attacks, and elemental magic to bombard the player with damage. Freezicles will regularly create a frost nova around himself and vanish to a different part of the room. This is the player's cue to sprint away from their current location and check the minimap for his new location. It's important to move when Freezicles teleports to avoid getting caught in the nova if he appears close to the player, as he often does.
Freezicles will also raise his sword to the sky before stabbing the ground to send out ice shockwaves, and wave his empty hand to throw ice shards, so players should stay on the move to dodge his attacks. His melee attacks are the most dangerous, dealing incredible damage, and he will perform an AOE stomp if the player gets too close for too long. Keeping a distance from Freezicles is essential since while his ranged attacks are annoying, his melee attacks are devastating.
He is accompanied by numerous skeletal minions that will attack the player with various melee attacks, so keeping a safe distance from them is highly useful. Keeping a few minions alive is important just in case the player goes down though, in order to get a kill in "Save Your Soul" mode and get back into the fight. Minions don't always respawn after the player dies, so this fight can be trickier on repeat attempts.
Freezicles first health bar is armor (yellow) so poison damage is the best way to cut through it and deal decent damage to him. His second health bar is white (bone), but he resists ice damage (normally the best means of damaging bone) so using the dark element, poison element, or physical damage weapons is ideal during this step. Fire and lightning can also work reasonably well.
