A Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands fan seemingly stumbles upon a broken spell during their playthrough, with the item having no stats of any kind.

p>Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is full of exceptional loot for players to wield in combat, with some of the most powerful gear of all coming in the form of spells. However, one Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands player found a spell that was anything but deadly.

Usually, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands' spells will deal serious damage, offering gamers a variety of attacks to make use of. Spikes of ice can be lifted from the ground, meteors can be pulled from the sky, and players can summon giant marshmallows to heal themselves. With Twister spells sending out two elements at once and giant gelatinous cubes able to be launched at foes, the sky is the limit when it comes to unique spells. This makes finding a truly useless spell interesting.

While Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ randomized loot has allowed players to find funny items like a Will Smith slap weapon, it seems like there is a chance it can spawn a broken item as well. This was the case for Reddit user Fridler, who joked that they found their “best spell” yet. In reality, they had found an item that dealt no damage and had no chance at landing a critical hit. Its cooldown was also nonexistent, with no information provided for its damage radius or spell charge, either. Oddly enough, it comes with two spell charges and a +14% cooldown according to its description.

As pointed out in the comments, the strangeness extends to the item’s name as well. The phrase “of shelter” seems like the very end of a much longer name, as most Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands loot features comically long titles. Why the rest of the phrase is missing is anyone’s guess, though it could have something to do with the missing stats of the weapon. In the comments, many played along with the joke and pretended that the gamer found a terrific spell, with Redditor TheStinkyOnes saying that the damage was “on the low side” but that the extra charge made it worthwhile.

One final oddity when it comes to this spell was shared by Fridler in the comments, who followed up by sharing that the item remained locked once they reached level 6. Despite reloading the game, the item was completely glitched, with the “of shelter” spell being unselectable and continuing to boast no stats. In response to this, Reddit user man0412 compared the item to a holographic Charizard card with a misspelled name, telling the gamer that found the item to place it into their storage and keep it as a memento.

When working on its next update for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, perhaps Gearbox will want to double check for broken loot like this. While the cause of the statless spell is completely unclear, it is certainly a memorable glitch.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
